The scene opens with a large 14ft. highs castle, complete with towers, battlements, and drawbridge shrouded in the evening fog. Upon arrival the Royal Scribe records your name, for posterity’s sake, on the Court Charter and with a loud bravado, heralds your arrival to all within the court, accompanied by a flourish from the Royal trumpeters. As you step out of the roughhewn boards of the bridge, two stout men-at-arms snap to attention, uncross their lances and allow you to pass within.
